Mardi Gras Drinks

Top Mardi Gras drinks to try.

1. New Orleans Hurricane 

1/2 cup ice
2 fluid ounces light rum
2 fluid ounces passion fruit flavored syrup
1 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 ounce lime juice
1 fluid ounce 151 proof rum

Mix all ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into glass. Float 151 proof on top.

2. Red Rooster

1 cup ice cubes
2 fluid ounces vodka
4 fluid ounces cranberry juice
1/2 fluid ounce orange juice

Fill glass with ice and pour vodka, cranberry juice and top with orange stir and enjoy.

3.  Bahama Mama

1/2 fluid ounce rum
1/2 fluid ounce coconut-flavored rum
1/2 fluid ounce grenadine syrup
1 fluid ounce orange juice
1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
1 cup crushed ice

Pour all ingredients in blender and blend until slushy.

4. Ramos Fizz

2 ounces gin
1 ounce cream
1 egg white
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar, to taste
2-3 drops orange flower water
Seltzer

Pour everything except seltzer into shaker. Strain into collins glass and add an ounce of chilled seltzer.

5.  The Tiger Paw

1 fluid ounce Southern Comfort liqueur
1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
1 fluid ounce raspberry wine

Pour ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into martini glass. Garnish with pineapple.

Valentines Day Drinks

Valentines day is a perfect  for trying new drinks. Here are some of the top drinks to order or make if your out or staying in.

1. Strawberry Sunrise 

2 ounces creme de fraises
4 ounces orange juice
1/2 ounce grenadine

Pour the ingredients into glass. Pour the grenadine last and let it sink to the bottom.

2. German Cherry Bomb 

1/2 ounce Godiva chocolate liqueur
1/2 ounce cream
1/2 ounce grenadine

Pour the grenadine first and then the chocolate liqueur. Top with cream.

3.  Azteca  Cocktail

 

1 ounce white creme de cacao
1 dash orange curacao
1 ounce Kahlua
1 1/2 ounces white tequila

Shake ingredients in cocktail shaker and strain into martini glass.

4.  Love Bite

1 ounce cherry liqueur
1 ounce orange liqueur
1 ounce cream

Pour the cherry liqueur into cocktail glass and layer it with orange liqueur. Top with cream.

5.  Strawberry Blonde

1 ounce Vodka
2 ounces cherry brandy
Fill with cola
Add a dash of cream

Pour all ingredients into shaker and strain in glass. Top with a dash of cream.
